this is the level in which there are 16 bodies in a circle, gas giants and singularities alternating, with another black hole in the center. indeed even if mars is prevented from capturing a single body no points are gained, as is the case reversed, either way the game does not progress past this level. my adversary is not impressed, however at this point neither am i. there are no constellations shown and no information regarding them when all stars and black holes are entirely claimed by either party. all in all this is a very impressive game so it's most unfortunate that karl or anyone else involved didn't investigate further before replying.

incidentally it's a rather simple level as mars is slow to move, you can secure an adjacent black hole and star with which to suppport the center while waiting for mars to weaken a body on your behalf. then keep feeding them via the center. if you are fluent enough it's also possible to work around the top and bottom of the circle, or create mana for spells, or even both.

i look forward to this being explained or adjusted, it's elegantly presented and refreshingly original. thanks very much to the concept designers, flash programmers, and media artists, as well as cccp for the hosting. it's been a pleasure to play so far.
